At the moment, our usual Pub Theology group meets every Wednesday evening on Zoom, so it’s a BYOB situation but we’re managing quite well so far. We follow a cycle of sessions through each month, including Ethics, Bible Study and Ignatian Prayer.
A new session in Epiphany 2021 - A Living Faith - will focus on sharing and reflecting on our lived wisdom, looking at our lives for the working of faith, and listening to what others have experienced and believe. We hope to encourage each other in what we can all contribute to the living tradition of which we are part, and discuss where we find meaning in life.
So each month we will start with a topic and share what we have to say about it, then reflect on what has been shared and glory in the wisdom we have (sometimes unwittingly!) produced together. It’s a form of group theological reflection, as well as an interesting discussion group.
